My friend Dawn (That Dawn of Dawns Candy and Cake), made this for our friend Nicoles surprise 40th birthday party. The top and bottom tiers are vanilla bean cake with raspberry mousse and the center tier is a triple chocolate cake with whipped chocolate ganache. The entire cake is covered in fondant and topped with a royal icing tiara (courtesy of Christian and Sarah). The cake looked amazing and I hope it tasted great too. I was not able to stay at the party long enough to try this creation, so I hope all the other party goers enjoyed it!Wednesday, February 18, 2009
